Four floors of furniture, art and artifacts in Chicago’s West Loop, available for executive meetings, board meetings, fund raisers, donor and client appreciation dinners, holiday parties and landmark celebrations.
Drinks, dinner and conversation take place among art and artifacts from around the world: Buddhas from Tibet and Nepal, Chinese lacquered cabinets, African masks, Kuba cloth and contemporary painting.
The Floors

Each floor can be rented on its own, or two or more can be taken together, according to the size and shape of the event. Large and small gatherings are both accommodated.
The first floor opens onto the Five Elements Library, with its stone floors and carved walls. The second floor holds full room settings of designer furniture and the Maharaja’s apartment, One Raj Place. The third floor brings together Oly Studio’s French industrial rooms, Japanese woodblock prints and the textile department. The fourth floor, Collectible Home, is laid out as a Ralph Lauren Home penthouse, with a dining room, study and a living room under a large skylight.
The Buddha Room

On the second floor, the Buddha Room is available for formal dining and cocktail receptions. Buddhas and statuary from Tibet, Nepal, China, Thailand and India line the walls; set for dinner, a single long table runs the length of the room.

On the fourth floor, the Ralph Lauren showroom has its own dining area: dark panelling, a long table and bookcases of Indonesian shipwreck vessels, Chinese scholar’s rocks and French bronzes.
Receptions, Launches and Dinners

When two or more floors are taken together, a cocktail reception can move from floor to floor: past the Incense Room and the 1,000-year-old stone floors of the first, through the Maharaja’s apartment on the second, into the steel-floored Oly rooms on the third. A launch or a client evening can take a single floor; a donor dinner can take the Buddha Room or the Ralph Lauren dining room.
Guests are surrounded by objects from Tibet, Mali, the Congo, India, China and Peru, set beside contemporary furniture and painting.
