Ceiling Lighting

Look up: the evening is decided overhead. Ceiling lighting means chandeliers, hanging lanterns, pendants and flush-mounted fixtures in brass, iron, glass, wood and mica. Moroccan and Turkish hanging lamps of pierced metal and colored glass, French and Italian chandeliers in iron and crystal, Indian brass hanging lamps on chains, Chinese lanterns and simple industrial pendants give a room its overhead light and much of its character. Old brass and iron age to a warm, dark finish. A single hanging lantern in an entry, or a chandelier over a long refectory table, draws the eye upward and sets the scale of the room. Gravity, handled gracefully.

In the collection now: Turkish Hanging Lamp, Electrified and Turkish Hanging Lamp, Electrified.
