Seating Sofas & Sectionals

Every room has a place where everyone ends up, and it is usually the sofa. Contemporary sofas and sectionals are built on hardwood frames and upholstered in leather, velvet and fabric, with tufted backs, rolled arms and low, deep seats. The Bel Air and Jamaica come in two- and three-seat lengths, beside the tufted Brook Street, the Rhodes, Arden, Alhambra and Meiji, the Kebe and Khartoum, the Capra sectional and the Hamish daybed. Mid-century influences show in clean arms and tapered legs; brass details and frames in huali and huanghuali, the honey-toned rosewoods prized by Ming cabinetmakers, link a few designs to classical Chinese furniture.

The upholstery stays calm so older things can speak. Saddle leather against a limewashed wall, a velvet sofa facing an elmwood altar table: quiet ground, nothing to prove.

In the collection now: French Nail Head Two Seat Sofa, Wood Ella Sofa, and Baliking Sofa.
