Modern Beds

A bedroom spare as a monk’s cell, and warmer. The frame is low, the wood is plain, and the grain does the talking.

Modern beds are contemporary frames in walnut, oak, mahogany, rattan and leather: platform beds with rattan insets, the Modern Metropolis, Marco and Diego beds in king and queen sizes. Clean lines and low profiles let the wood carry the design.

A platform bed sits comfortably with antiques: a Chinese elm chest at its foot, a Bamileke stool as a nightstand, a Tibetan thangka above the headboard.

Modern, and unembarrassed by old company.
